I was at the supermarket the other day and as I was looking for a present for my brother, I spotted a Nintendo Wii game which was called Wii Personal Trainer!

 

I thought does this spell the end for us PTs? In fact even a client told me I would be out of business within a year! Actually, even my Wife said she would like one! That almost sent me off down the job centre right there and then.

Then I remembered, the reason all those clients came to me for Personal Training in the first place. What they were actually paying for was my expertise, but also the fact they had a real life person to drive them when they would have watch East Enders if it were up to them.

 

Now could a game do this? We'll it may get fairly close, but I can tell you they have yet to find a way of a Nintendo turning itself on and going upstairs to wake up a sleepy owner!

 

And that is largely what they are paying for!!
