Fitness is key for Becks.

There is much written about David Beckham on and off the football field. The one thing he is not given enough credit for is his fitness.
 
Often footballers are criticised for seemingly not being able to play two games in a week, but Becks is playing two football seasons in one year! At 34 how does he do it?
 
The answer is in his committment to his fitness regime. Something he credits his time at Manchester United for is the fitness levels he reached there. This set the scene for his career and at 33 joined AC Milan where he held his own in arguably one of the fiercest fitness regimes out there.
 
Now he has finished there for this season ,played a few more games for England, he's off to honour his contract at LA Galaxy to help them qualify for the play offs. Notice, no break, no whinging and nothing but pure professionalism for his fitness and sports nutrition.
 
I think this deserves a great deal of praise and I know those of us who are of a similar age can only admire this dedication and drive to want to compete at this level and hold his own as the worlds most famous footballer. Hats off to David as a true athlete proving you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
